On 19 Nov 09 Lt. Wilson investigated reports of tires and other refuse dumped along Remely Road, .2 miles and .5 miles from State Route 555. Residents in the area commented that a large portion of the tires has been there for several years and it is unknown who dumped the items at those locations.

On 20 Nov 09 Samantha J. Hardie, age 29, 9645 State Route 821, Lower Salem, reported she recently became the cheerleading advisor at Lowell Elementary School and that despite her repeated attempts a previous advisor has refused to transfer the groups checking account to her. This case remains under investigation (1184).

On 20 Nov 09 a fifty-two year old Marietta resident was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital after he collapsed on the floor of a friend’s apartment on Pike Street. Transported by the Reno Fire Department, the victim had heroin and alcohol in his system as well as Vicodin, Xanax and Neurontin, which were prescribed to him. The victim’s current status is unknown (308).

On 20 Nov 09 Bobby S. Wilson Jr., age 45, 544 Groves Avenue, Marietta, reported while he and his girlfriend were away from their residence between 11 am and 2 pm, an unknown suspect(s) entered their home and stole a safe containing over $4,000 and miscellaneous jewelry. This case remains under investigation (610).

On 21 Nov 09 Deputy Sheriff Sheaves arrested Aaron C. Camino, age 41, 28145 Huckleberry Road, Coolville, for disorderly conduct by intoxication. Intoxicated and banging on an acquaintance’s apartment door at Cedarbark Apartments, Mr. Camino repeated refused to leave the apartment and threw patio furniture around his acquaintance’s yard.

On 21 Nov 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson responded to an altercation and possible drug overdose at 4220 Welch Road, Little Hocking. Upon his arrival, Deputy Anderson observed Judy Sargent, age 35, 3020 City View Drive, Parkersburg, holding down one of the home’s residents, Shawntel S. Eagle, age 30. The home’s other adult resident, Alexis Bigley, age 31, informed Deputy Anderson that Ms. Eagle tried to pick a fight with her, became angry and started throwing dresser drawers. Ms. Bigley said a drawer struck her dog on the nose and her in the arm and that Ms. Eagle began consuming a variety of prescription medications. Phoned by Ms. Bigley in an attempt to calm Ms. Eagle, Ms. Sargent, who is Ms. Eagle’s sister, stated her sister punched her in the face and that she was forced to hold Ms. Eagle down on a bed so she would calm down. A witness at the scene confirmed to Deputy Anderson the statements of Ms. Sargent and Ms. Bigley and said Ms. Eagle also struck the family cat with a drawer and also threw the animal into the refrigerator. Based on his investigation, Deputy Anderson arrested Ms. Eagle for assault, cruelty to animals and domestic violence and transported her to the Washington County Jail.

On 22 Nov 09 a neighbor reported a window air conditioner was stolen from a small hunting type cabin owned by David Remaly, 2702 10th Avenue, Vienna, at Welch Road in Little Hocking. This case remains under investigation (608).

On 22 Nov 09 Deputy Sheriff Anderson issued a citation to Eric D. Yancey, age 30, 22279 McGill Road, Guysville, for driving under a license suspended for having unpaid child support. Mr. Yancey was stopped initially on suspicion of OVI on State Route 7 near Joe Skinner Road but tested under the limit of .08.

On 22 Nov 09 Jacqueline M. Biggs, age 39, 1783 Highland Ridge Road, Lowell, reported she heard a commotion between her husband and son and when she checked to see what was happening her husband was standing over her son. Interviewing Mr. & Mrs. Biggs, Deputy Sheriff Simmons learned Mrs. Biggs son is autistic, has anger issues and kicks other people on a regular basis. In this instance, Deputy Simmons concluded Mrs. Biggs’ seventeen year old son kicked his stepfather because he was upset with him and that Mr. Biggs attempted to restrain the teenager when the two fell to the floor. Deputy Simmons found no criminal intent and closed this case as unfounded.

On 22 Nov 09 Deputy Sheriff Sheaves requested a summons for a twelve year old Little Hocking resident to appear in Juvenile Court for being unruly. For the second time in a week the juvenile’s foster mother reported the child left the home without permission and had yet to return.

On 22 Nov 09 Kenneth Casada, age 26, 3719 Blue Knob Road, Marietta, reported a Mirage 6600 CB radio worth approximately $3,000 was stolen from the downstairs level of his apartment while he was out of town between 1 Nov and 22 Nov. This case remains under investigation (308).

On 22 Nov 09 Lt. Wilson issued citations to Danielle M. Zaayer, age 32, 300 Starlite Drive Lot 36, Marietta, for driving under a suspended license and for disorderly conduct. Ms. Zaayer’s live-in boyfriend Brian Yarnell, age 32, reported earlier the couple was engaged in an argument and said when he tried to walk away Ms. Zaayer would block his direction of travel with her vehicle. The incident culminated when Ms. Zaayer exited her vehicle and shoved her boyfriend in an attempt to get him back to their residence.

On 22 Nov 09 Terry Coffman, age 55, 804 Coffman Road, Marietta, reported sometime overnight an unknown suspect(s) entered her son’s Pontiac Grand Am and stole a touch screen CD player, a subwoofer and a set of Taylor Made golf clubs. This case remains under investigation (608)

On 23 Nov 09 the Warren Volunteer Fire Department transported a forty-one year old Marietta resident to Marietta Memorial Hospital following a suicide attempt. The victim’s husband found his wife breathing but unresponsive and noticed five pill bottles were empty that earlier between 1/4 and 1/2 full. The victim is expected to fully recover (308).

The following suspects were processed into the Washington County Jail between Friday 20 Nov 09 and Monday 23 Nov 09:

Aaron Curtis Camino, age 41, 28145 Huckleberry Road, Coolville, for disorderly conduct by intoxication, a misdemeanor. Camino was arrested at Cedarbark Apartments by Sgt. Underwood of the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 09 at 1:20 am.

Jason James Corp, age 36, 735 Eighth Street Apt. 2, Marietta, for possession of drugs, a misdemeanor. Corp was arrested at his residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 09 at 10:30 am.

Kenneth Stanley Ware, age 48, 6370 Rex Road, Beverly, for OVI, driving under a suspended license, speeding, possession of drugs and for not wearing a seat belt, all misdemeanors. Ware was arrested near milepost twenty-three on State Route 60 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 09 at 3:25 pm.

Keith Dorain Transou, age 40, 102 Muskingum Terrace Apt. A, Marietta, for violating the terms of his probation, a misdemeanor. Transou was arrested on Colegate Drive by Patrolman Ellenwood of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 09 at 5:13 pm.

Ashley Nicole Wynn, age 29, Marietta, for theft, a misdemeanor. Wynn was arrested on Colegate Drive by Patrolman Hansen of the Marietta City Police Department and processed into the Washington County Jail on 21 Nov 09 at 11:40 pm.

James Ellis Hill, age 56, 122 Oak Grove Lane, Marietta, for a felony charge of OVI and for a misdemeanor charge of failing to obey the right of way at a red light. Hill was arrested on Harmar Street by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 09 at 1:44 am.

Shawntel Spring Eagle, age 30, 4220 Welch Road, Little Hocking, for cruelty to animals, domestic violence and assault, all misdemeanors. Eagle was arrested at her residence by Deputy Sheriff Simmons and processed into the Washington County Jail on 22 Nov 09 at 2:26 am.

There are currently eighty-five men and twenty-two women being housed in the Washington County Jail.
